The Law Office of Peter T New now offers paid consultations for immigration application review. If you’re filing for citizenship, a green card, or an immigrant or fiancé visa, we can help you get your process off to the right start. No sales pitches, no hidden fees—just the help you need to file correct the first time.
If you’re dealing with an immigration application, you know how stressful it can be. Do you have the rights forms and are they completed correctly? What evidence do you need to provide and what should you expect after you file? At least twice a month, our office gets a call from someone who filed their immigration application without a review, and the application was rejected or denied because of procedural errors. It’s always heartbreaking to see, not only because that individual has lost time, but because they may have also lost hundreds—if not thousands—of dollars in filing fees.
The reason we get these calls is simple: immigration is complicated. A single application will often require multiple forms, and each of those forms can require a long list of evidence. There are a lot of pitfalls and a lot of room for missteps, and even a small error can have big consequences down the road.
The best way to avoid these errors is to work with an experienced immigration attorney, but attorneys’ fees can be expensive. Not everyone can pay for an attorney’s services, and to be honest, not everyone needs to. If you’re filing on your own, but have questions or concerns about your application, a paid consultation is a great way to put your mind at ease. Your application evidence will be reviewed by a licensed and experienced immigration attorney, giving you the opportunity to correct any errors or omissions before you submit anything to Immigration. Not only that, but you’ll speak live with an attorney to ensure that you understand any changes that need to be made, to get any questions you have answered, and to ensure that you know what to expect and what to look out for as you move forward with your immigration process.
Once your consultation is scheduled, you’ll be provided with instructions on how to get your completed forms and evidence to us for review. If you’re not sure what forms you need, it’s no problem. We can provide you with current, blank versions of the forms required for your specific type of application. You’ll also be sent an invoice for your consultation, which must be paid online prior to your scheduled consultation.
Once you send your documents, our attorney will give them a thorough, line-by-line review. During the consultation, the attorney will go through this review, pointing out any errors, omissions, or areas of concern in the documents you provided. You’ll also be asked to go through the broader specifics of your case, so that we’re aware of any past criminal or immigration matters or other issues that may impact your application. We do this to make sure there’s nothing hiding in the details of your application that you need to be aware of or that might create complications down the road. You’ll also be given an overview of the immigration process so that you know what to expect moving forward. Finally, you’ll get an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about your application or the immigration process to ensure that you feel comfortable moving forward with your filing.
After your consultation, the attorney will send you a summary of the issues noticed during the review, as well as a checklist of the evidence you’ll need to include with each form. From that point, you’re welcome to contact us with any follow-up questions you have leading into the submission of your application.
Please be advised, this service is for a consultation only. By paying for a consultation, you are not hiring our firm to complete or file your application, to represent you in front of USCIS, or to represent you in any other matter.
If you’re ready to schedule, simply contact us to set up an appointment. You can use the contact form at the bottom of this page, or call or text us at 404-884-8315. We’ll be in touch within 24 hours (Monday–Friday). Weekday evening and Saturday appointments are available.
The fee for an application review is $250.
